Missing my daily yoga practice whilst in post-op recovery so I thought I'd reflect on my progress to keep my head in the game. This is 3 mths progress - may not look like much but to me it's a bloody lot! Since committing to my daily yoga practice 1.5 years ago I've learnt to be patient and accepting with my yoga journey. I've got a long way to go, but hey I'm 1.5 yrs closer than when I started!
Quick reflection...it was oct 2016 that I decided to start my daily yoga and I've come to be really addicted to it, especially the past 6mths. It's been a total game changer. It has really improved my mental and physical wellbeing. Now when I go a day without it I notice the difference. Big bonus - it's significantly helped with my training too - physically I can squat deeper, dead lift with better form, and my core is stronger. Mentally, it's humbled me with my training - I've now got more of a holistic approach. Hitting the big numbers isn't my number 1 priority anymore - feeling good mind, body, soul is more important. So, thanks yoga, I'll be seeing you in my daily life again as soon as I can kick this recovery to the curb! #yoga #yogaforlife #yoganewbie #progress #slowandsteady #romewasntbuiltinaday #dailyyoga #mindbodysoul #fitchick #fitmum #yogaappreciation #yogaapprentice #workitbabyworkit
